聊聊雅思口语Part2那些事儿

Today we’re going to talk about shit .......no, sorry , we’re going to talk about how to start your statement in part 2. I know a lot of you guys think it’s a very easy job to do, not even worth mentioning, but, most of the candidates failed the test just because of the easy part!
那么，首先，让我们来看一下part 2 topic长得是什么样。
Describe a person who taught you something
You should say
Who this person is
What he/she is like
What he/she taught you
And how you felt about him/her
（这是一月份的新题，有需要的同学可以来找Elliot, Elliot 有全部的part1-part 3新题哦。Yes, I’m a mighty bitch .）
这是一道常规的part 2问题，也就是说，题目并不难，大家可以讲学校里的老师，或者是教会你一些生活技能的朋友，家人。既然不难，很多同学便张口就来：
The thing I want to say is my friend teach me how to play games.
（考官抬高眉毛，瞬间丧失了听下去的兴趣，并直接给你的语法打了5分，词汇也是5分。）
为什么呢？
首先这个题目问的是person，你直接用thing开头，考官会觉得你没搞清楚问题的重点在哪里。
其次，没有人会用say这个单词开口，当你在讲故事时，我们会用talk about。一个say 直接就让你的词汇掉到了5分。
最后，teach 一词不对，很多同学说，我知道，该用teaching，teaching一改，格式对了，但是时态不对，这个点问的是过去时，所以要用taught.
当然，有的同学比较聪明，不会犯这种错误，并且，还能让考官大开眼界。比如：
Yes, this is a very interesting question, in modern society, we have so many things to learn, the artificial intelligence has transformed people’s life, and every day we are facing with so many high-tech products and wondering how to use them. That’s very important for people to learn how to use smart devices, or you will find it very difficult to hunt a decent job, so today I will tell you a story about how my cousin taught me how to use the IPAD, the thing is ......
（考官翻白眼，并想，no, not again! Another fake bitch, a shit-copying bitch）
这种开头很像大家高三时写的英语作文，只不过，把那句with the development of science and technology改长了点。那么，这样能够如愿地impress the examiner吗？当然不能，首先，这个开头太长，并且很假，考官会觉得你是背的，yes, a fake bitch，另外，这段话跟题目根本没任何关系，考官就没兴趣听。最后，这样讲的同学，往往后面部分和开头部分的质量天差地别，那考官会信你哪个部分的表现呢？当然是后半部分。
Okay，这也不行那也不行，那我就折中一下：
Off the top of my head, I just thought of my friend Jane who taught me how to do .......
这样，简短，又有加分词汇，总可以了吧？
这个开头，只有一点可取，那就是简短，单枪直入。但是，加分词汇就算了吧，你以为讲个off the top of my head,你就真能5跳到6了。No, No way, in your wildest dream!
并不是不让大家去使用像 off the top of my head, the person who popped in to my mind，这类表达，只是，用了后，你后面的叙述立马变得磕磕绊绊，漏洞百出，你成品的质量跟你这个开头的质量差别太大，那考官立马就知道，你这个开头是背的，精心准备的。So, 他就不care 了。

不少同学应该在抓耳挠腮
那到底怎么开头呢？
其实开头也很简单。如果，有同学看过雅思官方给的9分雅思口语示例视频，8.5口语示例视频，你就能发现，这两位选手在讲到part 2时，用的都是同一个开头，那就是
I’m going to talk about a ......
对，就是这个其貌不扬的开头，很多同学不屑一顾的开头。为什么呢？因为很多同学侧重点在答案的开始，而真正的高分选手侧重点在答案的后面。开头只有2秒，答案要讲2分钟，你觉得哪个重要？
那么，这个开头好在哪里呢？
首先，它简洁。考官都喜欢开门见山的表述。Native Speakers都是直脑筋，讲话不喜欢绕来绕去的，所以简洁明了最好。
其次，这个句型适用于全部的话题，不管是人也好，物也好，景也好，事也好，都可以用这个表达。比如：
I’m going to talk about a time when my shit got stinky......
I’m going to talk about a bitch who stole my boyfriend/girlfriend......
I’m going to talk about a place where idiots are everywhere......
I’m going to talk about a thing that was a pain in my ass......
最后，它里面还有一个定语从句
