流程图衔接处理黄金法则--避免流水账
流程图在雅思写作中出现不多，但是因为很多同学不重视这个题型，一旦出现就是让学生措手不及，其实流程图是一道非常简单的题目了，今天我们就学习下如何轻松写好流程图题。
我们看下列题目描写制作砖头的过程
有些同学在文章主体段描写过程的过程中描写的非常流水账比如：firstly,…. Secondly,… Thirdly… lastly …大家感受下，如果一篇文章这样的模式去写，是不是感觉很流程化，这样的文章是没有灵魂的，当然也是拿不到高分的。
有些同学在这个基础上进步一点， 给出这样的流程 Firstly…. After that…. Then… After that…Then…lastly…. 虽然比第一个看起来好一些，但是看起来衔接依然比较单一机械化。如何才能避免这种流程化的单一衔接，步骤之间还有哪些衔接方式呢。我们挑几个步骤来展示下不同的衔接方式：
第一步流程，我们把firstly替换成更自然一点的表达如 The entire process begins with ……….
The entire process begins with exploitation of clay from earth it abounds.
再比如下面第二个步骤里面有两个小步骤，clay 在metal grid 过滤之后 通过roller运往前方， 单独两个步骤我们先分别写下
1. The clay are then sifted through a metal grid.
2. The sifted clay are then transformed forward by a roller.
那么我们怎么才能让两个步骤衔接更自然一些呢，大家可以思考下步骤之间除了时间先后之外还有没有其他关系，前面过滤粘土和过滤后的粘土往前运之间隐含一个目的，过滤的目的是把合格的粘土部分运往前面，所以可以用目的衔接词换掉第二个then。
修改之后如下 A metal grid is then used to sift the clay so that the remaining qualified part can be picked out and transformed forward by a roller to undergo the further manufacturing process. 大家细品，是不是比第一遍写的更自然地道些了呢。
再比如说下面的步骤第三个步骤毛砖头制成 及第四个步骤放在drying oven 里面烘干， 两个步骤之间除了时间先后关系之外，也可以尝试用因果关系，比如At this point, as these bricks still contain too much water, they need to be dried up in a drying oven for 24 to 48 hours.
下个大步骤里面分三个步骤前两个步骤都是加热，可以放在一起用一个动词heat 连接一起 The bricks are then heated in a kiln first with a moderate temperature (200 to 980) and then with a higher temperature (870 to 1300). 是不是比两个简单句来表达更加简洁了。
现在我们回看刚才两个大步骤，
At this point, as these bricks still contain too much water, they need to be dried up in a drying oven for 24 to 48 hours.
The bricks are then heated in a kiln first with a moderate temperature (200 to 980) and then with a higher temperature (870 to 1300).
两句话主语都是bricks, 前后两个步骤可以用时间状语从句衔接如下
At this point, as these bricks still contain too much water, they need to be dried up in a drying oven for 24 to 48 hours before being heated in a kiln first with a moderate temperature (200 to 980) and then with a higher temperature (870 to 1300).
总的来说，避免流水账般的流程图描述，就要尽量把不同步骤用多种方式不露痕迹自然的衔接在一起，大家尝试着完成剩余步骤，完成文章！
